surely 'god' created all of these things, why not outline how they were made and what they do in your instruction manual for life, it would make doctoring a lot easier.
It should also explain why we don't need a spleen after about age 14, why we don't need an appendix, tonsils and adenoids, they are not 'essential' for the functioning of our body. Why we have tail bones. Surely it should explain all of these things....

The Bible is a religious Scripture, not an anatomy textbook. Asking why the Bible doesn't explain the creation of internal organs is like asking why a T.V. Guide doesn't discuss theoretical physics.
what a bad anaology.

Here is the right answer, copy and paste it to get best answer:
The bible was written by men uneducated in the way of science. They did not understand the inner workings of their own bodies, hence they attributed everything to a 'god' as a cop out to explain everything.

For the same reason it dosn't explain how they produced light but they did, how they organized and maintain our gravity sure scientists discovered how it works but what keeps it in motion and what started it they can't explain, and you do need your tonsils and adenoids they help in preventing throat and sinus infections, just because we haven't discovered the use for the appendix doesn't mean there isn't one...they thought that too in up until the 70's I believe, about the tonsils...tail bone is the name man has given to that part of the body...like the heart or the liver...how did they know it was a liver until they called it that...
I don't understand why you expect so much carnal knowledge from a book that is all about the spirit of man, for the spirit is willing but the flesh is week, it is our spirits and zest for life and love for others that this book is about, more about morals and ethics than medical...

It's in the appendix. ;P
Seriously, the human writers of that collection of fictional stories called the Bible were not educated and knew nothing of the Theory of Evolution or human anatomy. More enlightened men learned of these things centuries later.

Since He created them perfectly, with perfect health, then doctoring would not have been necessary in the original plan. Adam and Eve kinda messed that up for everyone else. Perhaps those "unnecessary" organs played a vital role when they were in fact perfectly created beings, but now that we have disease and death (brought about by sin) those organs do not serve their original purpose. Why don't you ask God when you stand before Him, I'm sure it would be an interesting discussion. But since no one here is the Creator of the Universe, it would be hard for us to answer the question.

The Bible explains everything. It says "we are fearfully and wonderfully made" and that "God formed man from the dust."
This would include his internal organs, now wouldnt it? It would be kind of silly to create a living thing with no internal workings...kind of like making a pretty clock with no insides to run it.
Where DO you folks come up with these silly ideas?

actually in the beginning we didn't have internal organs. this is a relatively new development which is an out growth of envy and jealousy between Steve jobs and bills gates. internal organs won't be necessary after 2012 then apple will put out "meow" operating system for human. windows will counter with see thru intestines.

There's more not in the Bible than is in the Bible. Take it up with God. He doesn't mention bacteria much either. Or the microscopic world. We know hardly anything about angels really, but no one can cross a street in this spritual atmosphere without the help of some of them. I don't kow why He left so much out. Maybe He expects us to use the brains He put in our heads too?

well it might explain a lot of things, but the book would be huge and most people wouldn't be able to read it all let alone understand it. That is not the purpose of the Bible..
We are instructed to lay hands on the sick and pray for their healing..

god created humans perfect - we were not meant to die, thus we dont need to know every detail of our makeup because we were not designed to get sick and die, we were also vegetarians when first created and thus the appendix had its full usage, we are so far from perfection now that our bodies do not function in the perfect way that god originally intended. Plus if God actually dictated to us how he created us in every minor detail how many pages do you think it would fill??? is there a library physically big enough to contain those books???

It's not a science book, but as you saw in the New Testament, Jesus had a way with taking care of/ healing the human body.
The creation of modern man and modern animals in Genesis seems to be more like genetic engineering momentarily interrupting evolution, hence those spare parts are left over remnants from evolution.
