My husband's co-workers are very much party animals and tell lots of raunchy stories & jokes - even about conferences and what goes on and they get very graphic --- this is at the dinner table at the restaurant. I'm debating whether to go or not next year, what would you do? Grin & bear it or what? It's really gross and sad that grown people act that way. Liquor is involved too.

Good luck getting out of that one...
If your husband wants to go than go with him and be a supportive wife. Let him know - if he doesn't already- that it does make you uncomfortable and you are going because you love him ♥

If it makes you uncomfortable then simply do not attend. Or you could attend and force your way through the dinner and simply excuse yourself before they get full of liquor and turn into raving maniacs... God bless****

I would not go next year. It doesn't sound like this type of party does anything to enhance your husband's career, either; but let him decide if he wants to go or not.
