I have italian origines, and i am there 3 times per year..The most beautiful country, i have a big love for it..Every place is particular, from the north, the famous Lombardia, with Milan, Brescia, Mantova....Toscana, Pisa, Florence,Umbria with Asisi, Perugia,Campania with the unique Naples and Pompei, Rome, the eternal city...
Museums...art in all its highness, in all its mystery...
Wonderful people, industry, kitchen...
What else can be said about this country? It is just 1...(at least for me)

Interesting question! In the past 20 years there has been a marked shift between Italy and the UK. Italy has come up and the UK taken a dive regarding living conditions for the inhabitants.

They have much in common ie, large numbers of illegal immigrants - problems with their governments and corruption however Italians live without a class system in comparison to the UK and the average family acts in their own interests rather than let external factors interfere with their way of life.

Italians are free while for the Yanks and Brits freedom is now only a memory which which will be passed down from the older generation to the young. However Italy should not become another location for Brits to escape to and in any case I do not think they would permit it seeing the damage which is being done to Spain!

Ciao! I've been to Italy twice and I'm going back for a third visit. It's a lovely country with lovely people. I am Irish and live in Ireland and I think that Italians and Irish have a lot in common.

Si! I love Italy and wish I was there right now!
Why I like Italy is because I love the lifestyle, the people, the way it looks-the streets, the architecture, the art, the food, the language...Tutto!
I especially love the small towns with the narrow streets and community neighborhoods!

I loved Italy immensely! especially Trastevere in Rome, I want to live there! Matera was also very beautiful.
I found the people really friendly and they always understood when I was trying to explain something, even when I tried to explain it in Italian, which believe me is hard because my Italian is fairly pathetic. I really enjoyed it!

Yes, I've been to the most beautiful place on earth, Venice.
I have also been to San Marino and Rimini before it became so commercialised.
