This pain is not normal. You could have internal scarring that becomes inflamed when you ovulate and once your period begins. Ask your gyno if you can have an ultrasound to see what is going on in there.

I had two abdominal (gynecological) surgeries before I finally gave up trying to have a baby and did the hysterectomy. I spent nearly all of my time in pain and was unable to function. Once your body interferes like that in your daily living, you need to have the doctor do something about it. You might not need a hysterectomy, but you may need to have the scar tissue removed.

In the meantime, the doctor EVENTUALLY told me to take 2 Aleve every 6 hours and two Tylenol #3s every 4 hours to help control the pain. It did help with the pain but if I did that for more than a day, my stomach was in agony.

Go to the gyno! I hope you are able to feel better soon. I feel physically a zillion times better since the hysterectomy but emotionally I'm still a bit of a mess because I can never have children. It was a trade off, I guess.

i don't understand your post. i don't know if you are saying you had hysterectomy in 99 or you had some type of other pain in 99. not sure what the vomiting is about / when it happens. i don't know what it means to keep a short ? i think you should have a different doctor evaluate your pain and question. you should not live in pain. if something hurts, this is the way the body tells you / talks to you / communicates that something is wrong that needs to be fixed.

Sounds like there is more involved than you are being told. Why would your Dr. allow you to be in this pain since 1999? What did he do with stacking them on one side? Can you please explain this in words we can understand. The pain and numbness in your legs shouldn't be. Please find another Dr. to let him take a look at you and explain why this is happening. If you are questioning whether you should have a hysterectomy you can discuss this with your new or present Dr. BUT please don't put it off, you have already waited a long time. You need relief now.

NO this isn't normal. You need to see your gyno. I'm curious as to exactly what you had done? I've had a complete hysterectomy in 2 surgeries. Did you have cysts, endometriosis?

i am sorry i can not make heads of tails of what you wrote.

i really would like to help... so maybe you can go back and re-read what you wrote and then edit it so it has readability. i am honestly not attempting to add to your load... but when english is spoken, to have comprehension, a minimum of readability needs to exist...

You've been in pain since 1999? That's not normal. If your doctor isn't doing something about this, find a new doctor.
