but the thing is i set it for to go to the next slide after 8 seconds but it doesnt do anything. whats happening?

Hi,
You may have added a custom animation that is waiting for the mouse to click or be dragged over it.
Check your custom animation list and make sure they are all set to "play with" or "play after"

I think you have to press space bar because in my computer class I was wondering the same thing but he said that for some reason it doesn't work that well! Maybe you just can't make it go after 8 sec.

make sure it is set not to the mouse click- auto i think it's called. I believe that even though you put in time it may not go if it is not on auto. (i havent done this since like 6th grade!) good luck with it!
