Allah holds ultimate power and commands ultimate respect. How else could he get the 9/11 hijackers into the cockpit.

How is this really any different that Yaweh commanding Abraham to kill his son, or genocide of the Hittites.

They have tons in common. Both believe in an unprovable god. Both are fundamentalists, both have killed millions in the name of god. As I see it the two youngest are also the most violent.

Yahweh did indeed command Abraham to offer Isaac as a sacrifice, but this was a test of Abraham's faith. Isaac didn't die. God provided a ram for the sacrifice. Did you see that in the text?

The second part of your question is a non sequitir, or "it doesn't follow", because you're trying to compare two totally different things. History tells how evil and beyond reformation these peoples were. Even then, God had no pleasure in the death of anybody, wicked or otherwise. Rahab, for example, in the Book of Joshua, was a prostitute and a Canaanite, both marked for destruction. But when she met the spies from Israel, she believed and was spared. She's not only an ancestor of Messiah Jesus, but also listed as a hero of the faith in Hebrews 11.

As for hijackers getting into the cockpit, that is something we'll never understand. How many were there? If there were more than 2 or 3, they could have easily pushed aside the flight attendants and forced their way in. Pilots didn't have any means of defending themselves, either, so again, it doesn't follow that anybody could have easily prevented this.

Allah does hold ultimate power , but he also gave human beings a thing called will , he has put Good and Bad both out there to test the human being to who will stay a true beleiver in the most difficult of times, a christian or a muslim , if they do something bad , only they can be held accountable for what they did not the relegion nor what they did, It is not written in the quran to kill innocent ppl, i dont think christianity allows that too and yes Abraham was ordered to slaughter his own son but God just wanted to test his obedience to how far he would go to obey God, God didnt actually let his son get slaughtered instead placed a goat there, God is just.

Because Muslims believe Jesus was a great prophet but nothing more. Christians believe Jesus was the son of God. Muslims believe that Mohammad was the spokesman for Allah whereas Jesus was just a prophet. That is a vast difference and not compatible.

they are all blinded by current events. nobody seems to take into consideration that the only reason there are so many extremist muslims in the middle east is because they are taught to be that way since the time they are born in more middle-eastern countries.

i've watched interviews about why muslims in the middle-east hate isreal so much... because they don't even know what a jew is! they're just told about how evil and corrupted they are. the propaganda over there says stupid things like coke and pepsi really being anti-muslim conspiracies. children's cartoons star characters who regularly terrorize americans. it's not the people's faults, it's currupt, controlling governments and terrorist organizations that would be there no matter what religion they were.

You really hit a nerve!!!

They really don't see how they are trying to create an "Iranian State of America" here.
Fundamentalism is DANGEROUS, no matter which myth you adhere to.
The answers you are getting are a clear indication of that.
These people want you to suffer some hellish torment in the "after-life" just as much as Muslims do... yet they don't see the difference.

Amazing.

And sad.

the 9/11 victims were innocent people

abraham did not have to kill his son...it was only a test........+ the hittites were wicked, vicious, evil, and dangerous people.

Theres a difference like a day and night between Muslims and Christians.

Christians keep on attacking Muslim land and then say " How peaceful they are "

On the other hand , Muslims are the Freedom fighters who since 1400 yrs stood against tyranny and wanted to spread Justice and equality not only amongst Muslims but Non-Muslims as well.

"Allah's" instructions for his followers to kill unbelievers is for all times which is different from Yahweh's orders three thousand years ago or so.

The difference is that it's more recent. Some Christians might say "Our God has changed and doesn't kill anymore."
