Well spotted, this is how you can work out roughly when Yeshu`a was really born. Nisan is the first month and Nisan coincides with April. Luke says, (Lk1v26) that Gabri'el appeared to Maryam in the sixth Hebrew month; this month is called Elul, (our September). By my reckoning then, he was probably born in the Hebrew third month called Sivan, (our June). There are uncertainties in this estimate, because the Hebrew calendar was not perfectly aligned to the solar year, it was a lunisolar calendar, and we are assuming a normal 40 week human gestation.
