I don't participate in Christmas, but not from fear. And I don't tear into the Christians who celebrate Christmas. It looks to me like a lot of us think if we follow the rules, God will love us. They forget that He reads hearts, too. I'm not a betting girl, but if I had to choose, I'd say He's bigger on hearts than rules. That's one of the points Yeshua tried to make.

I don't think they fear the traditions, they fear the fact that their religion has no originality and had to steal these traditions from Paganism. They don't want their kids finding out that Christmas and its "traditions" - from the virgin birth to the trees and down to the red and green - were all around long before Christ.

What they fear is that other people who don't know that Christmas is derived from Paganism will find out. They also fear criticism from other people over it if they celebrate it.

I like to think of it in this way.
Christmas trees= Evergreen & the infinity of Gods creations.
Feasts= Everyone likes to eat& It brings Family together.
Green can represent nature, which was created by god.
Red can represent the blood he shed for us on calvary.

Westernized Christianity has taught its followers that being right is of supreme importance and they are afraid of going to hell if they are wrong. This leads to fear-based orientations on various subjects in life and in general.

well God hates his people serving other Gods, & thats what your doing when you celebrate a pagan festival or one with a pagan origin
