EXCELLENT QUESTION! Have a star!
Actually I thought of this question while driving one day and forgot to post it when I got home.

I have eaten many apples, I must be going to hell for sure!

Hey, isn't there another fairy tale with an apple? Snow White was it? Damn, can't remember.

Are doctors really devils? Why else would we say AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY. It sure didn't work for poor Eve!

******* apples, they will get you in trouble every time.

the bible never says what kind of fruit was on the forbidden tree. but even if it was an apple tree, there could have been other apple trees that adam and eve could have eaten from...it was just that particular tree that belonged to God.
