Considering that there is more evidence of dragons existing than of God, it is kinda strange ain't it? Every continent and almost every country has there stories and legends of Dragons, from England to Japan, China, Aztecs, Mexico, Maya, Norweigh, the list just goes on. Unless there is some sort of prank that went country to country around the same time frames, and every country and society is in on it, I'd believe more in Dragons than God, but that's my opinion.

The reason most people in our culture (United States) believe in god but not in fairy tales boils down to one simple fact. “Just about everyone else does, so they must be right.”

There is nothing inherent in the god-story that is any more believable than any fairytale.

Because when I look in the mirror, or out the window, I see a myself or a world that is not an mistake or accident of science. Their is a greater being who has created this world.

I don't think that unicorns and dragons have done much for mankind. Do you believe in the tooth fairy, leprechauns, and trolls?

Can't you look at yourself and see something incredible, or are you too broken to even realize that?

Some people do believe in such things, not I, but I read some people do.

Fairytales are just that, calling the stories that tells you they are not true.

None of the stories of the Bible, be they told for a younger generation are written up as "fairytails".

People believe in God becasue He is real to us, we have conversations in our minds with His son, I feel constantly connected, doesn't mean I always do the right thing, but recognize immediatly that my quick comment may have hurt someone (when this happens) I feel remorseful and ask right away that I not be too quick next time with my words. Just a little example of how I feel connected with our Creator. Peace

The true and living God proves His existence through prophecy. Show me a fairytale that prophesies a coming Messiah with 300+ detailed prophesies that came to pass with 100% accuracy and I will believe in that fairytale.

I don't know...it is odd, because, although I doubt the existence of God, I still hold that the existence of unicorns, leprechauns, dragons, fairies, are as likely as spirits, souls, demons, etc. Mythology is mythology...

There isn't any money in fairytales.

There is no way to manipulate the masses
with unicorns and magic frogs.

Instead, threaten them with rewards and threats
and they buy into it. Hook, line and sinker.

Because God isn't the author of lies. That is the tradition of man, to warp the minds of children through governmental institutions known as your public school. And boy did they do a number on you.
