why not invade iran?

first thing is that these people taught us, call us losers. Only if the American people only sees what the Iranian president says behind our back. Its now time to stop them, they are enreiching uranium. Testing long range missiles and building up there forces.

Iran wont be invaded. Iran wouldn't make the first move, because the USA would crush Iran (if Iran works alone) by ICBMs etc. The USA wouldn't make the first move, because its pretty low on the world opinion, mainly because of its invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, and an invasion of Iran would lower its opinion even lower and hurt the USAs foreign relations. Also, an invasion of Iran wouldn't please the Chinese and Russians very much, and one thing the USA should remember, is not to anger the Chinese and Russians, as these two countries will end up the other world superpowers. Finally, I think that the american people would much prefer that military budget being spent in america on things such as welfare etc. rather than another war.

Diplomacy doesn't work because we refuse to talk to Iran. Iran legally can enrich uranium scary enough. After the new NIE report I don't see how we could bomb Iran. We went into Iraq with bad intelligence and now all 16 spy agencies say Iran has suspended their nuclear weapons program since 03' which makes it difficult to attack now.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want a nuclear Iran but I don't think invading is the answer.

There is no reason to invade an imbecile. Iran will fall very quickly and it may not take the US or Israel to do it, but the other Arab nations will soon see the danger that Iran is putting the entire region into.

But if we do have to stop Iran I hope we do so without boots on the ground , we don't need to occupy the place, just stop their dreams.

Because our Army is stretched to the limit already. It needs to finish the job in Iraq, and Afghanistan first. Then it needs to be brought home to defend our southern border.

I live in Arizona, and believe me, there are places in the desert here, where you go at your own risk. The Mexican drug cartels have infiltrated our borders, and are better armed than our Border Patrol.

By the way, you sound like you are from overseas anyways, so lets leave it at that.
