Had a similar problem with an old Sony ES audio product.

Try going to the manufacturers website and check under support.......take a look, but am doubting you'll anything other than a users manual or specs - if you're lucky.

So..........email manufacturer tech support and request a copy of the schematic/wiring diagram - if they have it archived, or if it's a relativley new product, they will almost certainly mail you a copy. You may or may not incur a charge.

I'm going to guess that you mean "any" home audio equalizer since you didn't specify a name. Use the tape in/out on your receiver. TAPE OUT of the receiver to IN on the equalizer, OUT on the equalizer to TAPE IN on the receiver. Then turn on the tape monitor on your receiver and voila!
