Dogs should be indoors with their families. They do need regular outings for exercise and elimination though.

Labradors need a great deal of excercise and can not be done in a house htey need t be walked for at least 1/2 hour 3 times a day, as well as plenty of play time.
Tehy can be house dogs but again they need to be taken outside for excercising.
Labs aslo usually like water and enjoy goiong swimming.

Yes dogs are supposed to live in homes with people. It is healthy as long as you take good care of your dog (flea control and baths).
Any breed of dog can live in a house with people.
Since you have or want a puppy, you will need to housebreak it and crate train it so that it does not get into trouble.
Just remember a Labrador is a big dog and loves to be outside and taken for walks and runs so he should still have lots of outdoor time; just not live outside.
Dogs are wonderful companions and want to be with their owners.
They were breed to be with people.
Have fun.

Family member, friend, companion - this is why most people have a dog. Of course you want it in your home!

Make sure it has ample time outside for exercise and potty issues, but, by all means - make it a part of the family.

It is starting to get too cold out now, in most areas, to leave it outside anyway...

I wouldnt keep a labrador inside. My aunt did it to hers and the dog grew obese even with regular excercise.
