The word TESTIMONY comes from the practice of holding the testicles while making a promise - as if to say that if I am wrong, I lose my power in the testicles !!

If you refer to the original times, then testimony of faith would mean holding your testicles and swearing by what you profess to be your faith.

This question would be better off iunder the "Words and wordplay" section, and I 'm joking of course.

I know what I mean by "Testimony of faith" , though another person might mean another thing.

What I mean is to tell someone about what I believe to be true about God. I 'testify' that Jesus is Lord, and whoever believes that Jesus is Lord and covered the sins of the world has eternal life.

Anyone who trusts God through Jesus Christ has made peace with God.

That's an example of my testimony of faith.

for biblical christians, it is the story of how they came to know Jesus Christ when they accepted Him as their personal Lord (their new Master after having been slaves of sin) and Savior (since they acknowledge that they could not save themselves and no one else could) and how He has been working in them (changing them to be like Him) and in their lives (revealing who He is through their experiences).
