Considering the ubiquitous nature of cellphone texting (if that's what you actually meant), it probably wouldn't seem unusual or cheap.

However, you should be aware that he could forward your message to anyone he wants, which might cause you some embarrassment (and what if you accidentally send it to someone else?).

A recent fortune cookie (an ancient form of text messaging!)
I got may have some relevance to this: "Proceed with caution lest you be snared in a trap of your own making" (yeah, I didn't understand it, either!). ;)

Telling in person would be best. He will like your confidence and take you more seriously. Trust me, I know from experience. When I was in highschool I really liked this guy and told him by putting a letter in his locker, (no email, but same idea), after that day, everything just went downhill and our thriving friendship went away. I still feel to this day, that if I would have been upfront about it there wouldn't have been any akwrardness between us and we'd be better friends. In my opinion, 7 days is such a short time to decide if you really like a guy. Become friends, hang out and see what develops, because sometimes a really great guyfriend can be better to a boyfriend and eventually lead to a boyfriend.

communicate which contain your son. We had a similar subject with our son, he became performing out and throwing tantrums in school. We found a number of it became easily brought about by a bully, yet our son did no longer opt to "tattle" on him. the instructor started a advantages software variety component purely for him. every day he brings domicile a workstation that tells us how he did that day. If he does nicely, he gets to do or have some thing particular that his instructor arranges for him. If he continually does nicely with out any slip united statesfor a month, he gets a huge prize. we are nonetheless engaged on an entire month of stable habit, it hasn't got here approximately yet, yet he has come close. you would be shocked once you communicate to your son, he would inform you issues you under no circumstances would have expected. He may additionally "clam up" and not be keen to inform you something. With our son it became problematical to have faith previously each little thing that a million youngster became inflicting maximum of issues in school for him. yet fairly while they have been separated and the instructor started being counseled of issues regarding those 2 - the habit replaced dramatically.

just tell them directly. or at least in a letter.. in a way letters are better coz you can edit them before sending BUT they will have that letter..

email is way too impersonal.. although once I had a girlfriend who wrote some not so nice things via the internet.. so I figured it was apt I dump her by email , with the original text she was talking about me attached.

so just say it to their face.. obviously not straight away, build up to it

no
it aint cheap
it's just,
sorry, no offence but it's wierd

i was about to do the same
but then i thought
i won't be able to say a word back

yh, i admit that it's good in one way because you can't say it in person
but then that guy would have no clue on what to reply back

and you may eventually feel like slapping yourself

Its better in person. And if he doesn't like you there is no paper trail for him to show peeps. The email will make you look desperate and he will find it weird.

You could tell him face to face, but no saying you love him. It's too soon for that. No having sex, either.
