You see I have two chihuahuas and we are holding a chihuahua right now for someone else. She is our Male chihuahuas sister. She had a home but they gave her up so we found another home and she will be going there on christmas. Anyways we are holding her here and she keeps barking. Any suggestions. I think that our Male doesn't even know she is his sister.

for those of you saying to keep them apart. Thats not an issue. They don't kill eachother they just ignore eachother. The question was how do I get her to stop barking and why is she barking.

Sounds as though she is distressed from all the chaos in her life.
She was removed from the home she knew only to be placed in A temporary home and is not able to understand that she has A forever home coming soon, all she knows is that this home feels like it will be gone like her other home.
I am sure she is being treated with love but she can feel that your home is not truly hers, she is barking to show her dis comfort.
You may not be able to stop her at your home but the new place she is going will need to know she will need some extra assurance that she is finally "home" IE. her own special bed , food bowl, collar , leash ,toys in A basket, blanket, etc
and all the pets and hugs she can stand, She will soon understand that this is were she belongs and barking should no longer be A problem.

Yo will need to train her barking is not allowed.
Sorry but the original home didn't bother to train her for the barking.
Chihuahuas can be and become very big barkers. This is easiest to train them when they are very ;young but can be trained if they have started just harder.
Again it's in the training.

You can give her a tap on the nose with a firm NO! Or you can close her muzzle with a firm No ! I have a chihuahua that is 10 months and has only barked 2 or 3 times now.I used the tap on the nose method.
