There is truly ONE GOD. As was written in the Bible, lots and lots of religions will sprout. But in the end, they all believe in one and the same true GOD.
GOD BLESS YOUR PEOPLE.

God allows us to do what we want and to do as we choose with the Earth and each other. It is called free will. We get to choose.A Christian believes that Jesus is our Lord and Savior. He was crucified for our sins and he rose from the dead. It doesn't matter which label you put over the door of a church, all Christians believe these basic things. The way people choose to worship differs from one church to another. This is also true in many other religions. Think about it. I am a Christian. I am also a sinner and fall far short of living the life that I should but it doesn't change my beliefs just because I am week in the flesh. Remember religion is really all about what you believe is going to happen when you die. I believe in eternity in Heaven or Hell. For those who believe nothing happens when you die, well lets just say that if I am wrong and you are right I am safe but if I am right and you are wrong well eternity is a long time to think about it. Satin is a master at deception, doubt, and confusion. It is not enough to believe in God you must be saved. Satin believes in God. Too many choose to follow a comfortable user friendly path or to follow nothing. Research and study will lead you to the truth. The proof is written. Easy to be an arm chair critic and doubter but there are no atheist in a fox hole when people are dying all around you. The only reason we are really here is to decide where we want to spend eternity.

It's in human nature to differ - and therein lies mankind's greatest beauty.
Christian Clergy try to bring everyone to one stream of thought, but differ among themselves. When they differ they fight - and when they lose elections, they open a new branch of Christianity. To show something different, they interpret the bible anew - and there's yet another branch.
BTW - most Christian books were burned in the middle ages when the Clergy were strongest and sending Chriatians out on Crusades. All books that differed from the mainstream thought were seen as a threat to the power of the Clergy and they were destroyed.
Therefore, today's Christianity is more flawed than any other religion. Yet they cling on to the clergy and get farther away from Christ.
If you track even their answers at YA, you will find that they always quote some verse from THEIR Bible and maintain that other Christians are lesser Christians. The Game that is afoot is that one sect of Clergy is trying to be stronger that the other ... and the sheep follow in the steps of the masters without realising the trueness or falsehood of that which they follow.

God allows many different religions simply because religion is based on culture and family. If you were born in India, you would probably be a Hindu or Sikh.
Most major religions believe in an all powerful supreme being and many of the religious events depicted in the Bible are also recognized by other religions for example the Flood or the Great Deluge.
To answer your question, there is only one God. You have to find the way to worship him that is good for you and one that lets you communicate with him.
I recommend a book for you that you can get on-line called "The End of Religion" - it is not the end of "God". It's a small, easy to read book by Bruxy Cavey and I know it will help you with your questions. Order it on www.theendofreligion.org

There is only one true church. It is the spiritual body of Christ here on earth and it is composed of all the born again believers.
1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God...2:5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. 19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.
How do you know which denomination is "right"? You have to remember that there is no "perfect" assembly of saints here on earth. If it was then you and I couldn't be a part of it. Instead, you have to be like the Bereans whom the Apostle Paul preached the gospel message to.
Acts 17:11 Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
Even the great Protestant theologian John Calvin said that "at best a man's theology is only 70% correct".

Being a true Christian is not about following rules. It is about having a relationship (two way communication) with Jesus Christ.
The deeper my relationship with Christ gets, the less I want to do things that "Religion" makes rules against. The process at work in me is called sanctification. Many religions have tried to create a set formula to accomplish the process of sanctification. Rules produce fake Christians. That is why we have such a bad reputation as hating and being judgmental.
A true Christian will love and accept everyone right where they are at, because that is what our Lord (Jesus) would do. It's not up to us Christians to be good, it is the job of the Holy Spirit to work within us to make us more like Christ.

God allows so many different "kinds" of Christianity because well I believe he loves everyone, so he loves ever kind of Christian. Did you know he even loves people who aren't Christian? He loves everyone! So, no matter what religon, Christ will be there! But, there are so many different views of Christianity because the people who lived in that time wanted to get a certain type of person to read the story. Maybe the rich or maybe the poor. Sometimes you can tell and sometimes you can't.
The answer to the second half of your question is, you don't know which one is right! It depends on the kind of person you are. And again, no matter what you choose, Christ will love you.

I truly understand what you are saying, I have always had that question, because I am as curious as you are. Why should there be so many religions to worship god? Because I'm a christian, and our beliefs are quite different than yours.
But, hey aren't we worshiping the same god I understand where you're coming from. If it was so wrong wouldn't god have showed us a sign by now? I'm a type of person that believe in respect, and I respect others beliefs*

how refreshing to find someone who actually thinks instead of just eating up whatever they are told by the clergy. first off
1. there is one bible and one god and one true religion
2. people who did not want to live by Bible standards started their own churches.
3. God created us will free will, but a thinking person can study the bible, and that will show which religion is the true religion.
as much as people poke fun at Jehovah's witnessed and call them crazy, they do teach the truth about god...remember people called Noah crazy too. and when he preached and tried to save people from the flood, out of the entire city only his wife, sons and daughters in law went onto the ark and were saved.
there are a lot of web sites out there that try to direct you away from finding the truth with Jehovah's witnesses so be careful as you search, but go to www.watchtower.org you can request a book called "what does the Bible really teach" without any obligation.

Isn't our God awesome? That He formed each one of us as individuals? That there are so many ways to come to Christ? Truth is, we are all one body in Christ Jesus. (You might just be a finger, and what you do is point (LOL just kidding). As for me, I want a bible-based church, I need that. I respect the Catholics for their tradition, commitment and reverence. I see it this way---some of us are taught that when the father enters the house we stand quiet and wait to be addressed, some are taught to run and jump gleefully for a hug, some have chores or work to do. I asked my Reverend this same sort of question and he said that the basic differences between the churches can usually be broken down to two parts: how they govern themselves and how they practice or recognize the sacraments. Same God, same trinity, same eternal promise. My best suggestion is to go to the source; read your bible, ask God to show y ou where you can serve Him best. He wants us to fellowship with other believers. He wants us to participate in corporate worship. But no one but you can decide how to make that happen..... God Bless...

I believe there is ONE God - and it's too big for just one religion. Religion is a tool that helps us live better lives. You seemed to forget about Judaism, Taoism, Hindu, Muslim, Budhist - and many others. Everybody picks what works best for them. Nothing wrong with that.
Lots of religions - but just ONE GOD. That's how I see it. No wrong and no right. Just different ways of tapping into the LOVE (God) - and living good lives.
Namaste!
