In Panamax training, they inject high voltage into a variety of brands' conditioners, including Monster. They all fry, except the Panamax.

If you have a power transformer fail in your neighborhood, or if the electrical repairman is careless, the Monster will protect your equipment, but you'll have to buy a new Monster.

Panamax by far. Monster products are over-rated and way overpriced. Pushy marketing and fancy advertising doesn't make for the best product.

I like them both. However you get more for your money from Panamax.

Sometimes you just have to give your costomers what they want. Monster has a Name! And people love name brands.

If I were you and this is for your own system. Buy the Panamax.

Monster is over-rated but the Panamax is solid. You might even try Belkin's "Pure A/V" brand. It's pretty good, too.
