The warmer the carbonated liquid poured over ice, the more it fizzes. If you keep the Coke in the fridge, it shouldn't fizz much, but then you might not need ice anyway.

tilt the glass a little and pour it in slow at the side of the glass hardly any foam that way and did you know when you pour it the way you are talking about if it starts to overflow put your finger in the middle of the foam and it won't overflow both of them really work

to combat the amount of foam try pouring slower, down the side of the glass at an angle.
