I am not perfect by any means, but:
I don't smoke, I never have.
I don't drink.
I never swear.
I have never broken the law.
I have never claimed benefits.
I have always worked (as a nurse).
My children tell me I am a wonderful mum.
I have never killed a living creature, not even a fly.
I have never hurt a living person, (knowingly).
I am considered kind and thoughtful.
My friends tell me they cherish me.
I recycle almost everything, I always have.
I don't drive a car as I care about the environment.
Part of my earnings go to charity every month.
I have always voted.
I am not a racist.
I am not xenophobic.
I am not against religion of any kind.
I care deeply about people animals and all living things.
I do voluntary work for the homeless.
But...
I cannot enter the kingdom of heaven because I express, as nature intended, for me, my love, sexual and emotional to women, not HATE, but love.
What is it that I have done that is so bad that I can't get into heaven?

Thank you all, so far, for your lovely replies, especially Pami.
As for fabian19 - I was made for men was I? Well if you are an example of a man than no thanks I'll stick with women.

Well if entry to heaven is about faith, according to your answers it is, there is still a problem. Because the church will exclude me unless I admit to this 'sin', in that case I will never admit to it because it is not a sin in my eyes. It's like expecting me to admit to a murder that I did not commit. Sod it, I think I'll become a buddhist. Oh, now you've made me swear.

Well I had some interesting responses. Some are lovely and thoughtful. Some are pompous. Some are patronising. Some are down right evil, you know who you are! Some are humourous and made me laugh.
Some of you say that it is not what I do that determines my entry into heaven but whether or not I have taken Jesus into my heart. Well, I have a problem with that argument. That means that if I am a murderer, a felon, a paedophile I can get to heaven just by taking Jesus into my heart. Well, I don't want to be part of any religion that has that as its criteria for entry to heaven. I don't want to go to a heaven and share it with paedophiles, and yes I am making a judgement about that even though I am not God. (Minerva btw, is the goddess of wisdom)
I still think Buddhism has a lot going for it.
I hope you all have a nice life, even fabian.
Thank you.

Oh boy that's a can of worms....
I'm NOT going to say that you can't go to Heaven. EVERYONE can go to Heaven if they love and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and repent of their sins, crimes against God, self and human law, get baptized by immersion and the Holy Spirit and then study His word...to know Him better in a very real way...
This is what God says in the Bible...
1 Cor. 7:2. ... each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. 3 The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. 5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. Heb. 13:4. Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure ...
The first of many commands against adultery; from "The Ten Commandments."
You shall not commit adultery. Ex. 20:14.
Jesus teaching about mental adultery, from His "Sermon on the Mount."
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matt. 5:28.
A few of the numerous injunctions against sexual immorality (fornication).
You are to abstain from ... sexual immorality. Acts 15:29
Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery ... Rom. 13:13.
Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 1 Cor. 6:18.
We should not commit sexual immorality ... 1 Cor. 10:8.
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality ... Gal. 5:19
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality ... Eph. 5:3.
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires ... Col. 3:5.
It is God's will that you should ... avoid sexual immorality; 1 Thess. 4:3.
Jude 1:7. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
There is no doubt how God feels about homosexuality. Genesis 19 (This is the classic story of how God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality.)
4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom--both young and old--surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them." . . .24 Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah--from the Lord out of the heavens. 25 Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, including all those living in the cities--and also the vegetation in the land.
Jesus is the only one who can say who will and will not go to Heaven. Since He is the creator of Earth as purported in John chapter one, and our Judge on He can allow us in....or not. It is up to us as to how we choose to believe and if we believe the Holy Bible is the sanctified inspired word of God through His holy men, then if we obey His commandments and do as He says with a loving heart and willing spirit, then we will be given our eternity with the triune Almighty in the new Heaven and the new Earth after it has been forever cleansed of evil and sin. According to Jesus Himself and many other supporting verses in the Holy Bible, Jesus is the ONLY way into Heaven. No matter how good we are or how loving and just we are, if we do not accept Him as Lord in our lives, we will not be allowed into His kingdom. As for me...having lived in this conflicted, violent, embittered and unhappy warring world, that is the only place I want to be.
I hope you found this helpful...it was a whole lot of typing, but I found your question to be most important and to give you the very best answer that I, being who I am, a loving follower of Jesus, could. May God bless you and impart His Holy spirit into your wisdom and heart.
A friend, Pami

I don't know, are you saying that you're gay? I don't know where I have ever seen it written anywhere in the bible that is is a sin for a woman to be a lesbian unless it's some prohibition on fornication. But I don't see how the females of our species can fornicate. It seems physically impossible. When it comes to sexual expression and sin, it seems like the Bible more often than not is directing the information towards men. Maybe it's your on-line name that is preventing you from entering the kingdom. Isn't Minerva a Sorcerer or magician from the time of the Romans?

The Christian bible states only people who have been born again or have accepted the lord Jesus Christ into there heart can go to heaven. In the bible Jesus says "I am the way the truth and the light no one gets to the father accept threw me." the father is in Heaven so if u have acccepted Jesus into your heart you are going to heaven if u havent ur not.

Ifd that were the case, then why did Jesus sacrifice Himself for man's sins?
The truth is that that is NEVER enough. as we see here:
Romans 3:9-11 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)

No One is Righteous
9What shall we conclude then? Are we any better[a]? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin. 10As it is written:
"There is no one righteous, not even one;
11there is no one who understands,
no one who seeks God.
As for all of your "good works":
Isaiah 64:6 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)

6 All of us have become like one who is unclean,
and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;
we all shrivel up like a leaf,
and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
There is only ONE way & ONE WAY ONLY to be goiod enough in god's eyes-by coming into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as seen here:
John 14:6-7 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society
6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would know[a] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

Kingdom of Heaven stands for God.
The kingdom of God or Reign of God is a foundation concept in Christianity.
The Kingdom of God embraces all created intelligence, both in heaven and earth that are willingly subject to the Lord and are in fellowship with him.
The kingdom of God therefore, universal - includes created angels and men, eternal - as God is eternal, and spiritual - found with in all born again believers.
We enter the kingdom of God when we are born again and we are then part of that kingdom for eternity. It is a relationship "born of the spirit" and we have confident assurance that it is so because the Spirit bears witness with our spirits.

It sounds like you are coming before God based upon your own merits and not upon what God has done for all who by faith will believe. When you say that "I have never broken the law" does that mean that you have never broken one of God's laws? Does that mean that you have never told a lie for instance? The Bible is clear, "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". And again "The wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus."
The greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. Do you obey that commandment? Do you honor God and give Him the glory in the things that you do or are you like Eve who wanted to be like God but not submit to God's commands?

you have done nothing wrong, the church is not infallible and says the wrong thing sometimes contrary to god's actual message. if you are a good person you will get into heaven so long as you are kind to your fellow people and have faith in god. regardless of who you love

It doesn't really matter what we say and if we said it, it would just antagonize and alienate you; correct? You sound like a wonderful person! It is between you and God and He makes the final call. Have a blessed Merry Christmas!

It doesn't matter if you are a "good" person. All that matters is you trust God as your Lord and Savior, and you have brought Jesus into your heart, THEN you will be in the Kingdom of Heaven.
But, in the Bible it also says that God doesn't like it when people sexually love the same sex.
I'm not one to judge, and neither is God, but God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

in who's opinion that matters can't you go to heaven? and whats so against god (or christians) about drinking, catholics do drink "the blood of christ" and all? also i think its okay to be against people who try to force thier relgion onto other people. If these people who think you can't get into heaven think so low of you, then they can't really care about the salvation of your soul.
so they are probably just using people who like people of the same sex to take thier anger and insecurities out on, while having the bible to validate them in doing that, even though it is selfish and I doubt the god I believe in would let these people into heaven.
