I think in Christianity there can be no ETS, because they would also have the similar sin problems that we have, and therefore have need of Christ also. A problem involving simultaneous Christs and Second Comings would exist, for one thing. Also all evil would have to be eradicated throughout the universe at the same time, or then you would also have problems about the existence of multiple Satans, you know - no longer on earth, but still existing on Planet X or something.

From a Christian doctrinal or philosophical expansive perspective, what do you think?

There is no reason to believe that because we fell, other sentient beings also fell. Perhaps they live in the original harmony God intended. C.S. Lewis and Madeleine L'Engle both addressed this concept in different ways in their books. L'Engle wrote A Wrinkle in Time and its sequels, Lewis wrote Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, and That Hideous Strength. You might want to look at them.

I got no problem with it - I mean it wouldn't shatter my faith to learn that God had created other worlds or other beings - I mean, He's been here forever for crying out loud, how arrogant do we have to be?!?
