Christmas is just around the corner, and I am planning to buy my mother a gift from things Remembered, the store where they ingrave whatever you want in the gift, Thing is I just dont have a good quote some one please help me. I know it would be a good gift, but it would be the perfect gift with the right quote.

There is jewish proverb the says - "God could not be everywhere so he created mothers." I have seen that on plaques before and it says it all.
OR
I love your idea of going to Things Remembered but why not take advantage of the fact that you can write anything on it that you want. I would try to think of something that your mother always says and use that quote. I think about my own mom and I can come up with a bunch of her wise or wisecracking sayings and I know that she would love it to see her own worlds engraved on something.

For example -

"I don't care what everyone else's mom let's them do" - Jane Jones

Others that my mom says -

God give me strength

Always wear clean underwear

Don't make me turn this car around

Our family motto is "Life sucks, then you die!", you could add, "Thanks for being my mom!". It works for our family, but I understand it might not be viewed with the pragmatic optimism that my family has.
