I'd guess 25-35, although I wouldn't be especially surprised if it were slightly above 35. Of course, it depends largely on the section - I bet "Homework Help" is 10-20 and "Cats" is 45-55.

I'd actually say pretty old, compared to most forums I visit. I think that y!a is more technophobe-friendly than most forums, because you can only answer once, so there's less discussion between answers. It's a much simpler concept, just question-and-answer, so there are a lot of people in their 40s and such.
I enjoy the anonymity of y!a when it comes to age, because it means that people cannot declare others wrong just because they are younger.
