Just for winter in general snow flakes are always good; you just fold a piece of paper into fours and than cut.... (how to: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Paper-Snowflake)

Then you can always get garland and spread or print off pictures of Santa and elves and put them up on the wall. That's cute, too.

You can put presents under the tree that makes it more Christmas.

And if you don't have any presents yet, get boxes, wrap them up, and put big bows on them.

Candles make it smell like Christmas a lot of times! Go to the Yankee Candle store they have a Christmas tree or Christmas cookie one.

=] happy holidays!

Get a string of lights, and if you can, find an outlet near your window or put them around the frame of your door, or just tack them up in an arch and hang a stocking under them. You could even go way back in the day and buy some green and red construction paper and make a chain link to hang from your overhead light. Lol.

I haven't in a few years, but I used to collect cedar, pine, holly, and other festive greens to make garlands. I would drape the garlands around the room and over the doors and windows.

I have sewn covers for my pillows in xmas prints. The fabric is so pretty, and on sale at half off at the end of the season. Pillows are easy to make.

Simple. Place ornaments in a crystal bowl. Add red pillows-got to have a manger scene!

Using a small artificial tree (about 18" tall), set it on your dresser and decorate it with your jewelry (you can add lights too).
