I give her private lessons in literature, and she has a crush on me.. She keeps on telling me that I am beautiful, and that she loves me. I have cancelled a meeting today, and she came to my house anyways, because she says she misses me.

She hates my room mate, I think she might be jealous.

I dont know what to do because she is currently under depression treatment. She is 19 by the way, and I am 25.

---

I do not teach at the school where she learns. I have tried talking to her mom, but she is blinded by her parenting love. I am just scared that she is gonna do something rash if I end it.

Like today, i couldnt convince her to go away, and I finally told her that I have to go as well. She begged me to let her stay with me while I get dressed, then we left togather, I circled the park and came back home.

I am a woman, by the way

That's a tough and scary situation Laelia, and I have no professional expertise to provide you. But let me just throw out some thoughts or ideas.

1. If student is 19 and still in high school, then mommy knows about this problem
2. It ain't a healthy situation, and you need to get out of it.

What kind of daily routine do you have? Is it stay-at-home or do you go to work daily?

Can you talk to the property owner about getting out of the lease and quickly and discreetly moving to a more secure and/or protected place?

Once you've thought about your course of action, you need to stop this tutoring immediately. Start by talkiing to the parent and explaining why you must do this. Further explain the daughter's apparent fixation on you and the situation. At the first sign of a problem, MOVE.

Good Luck

Wow! Okay out of my opition ,well the thing I would do is you really need to talk to her. You two(As in You and the Student) should sit togeter in a room and(sinch you tryed to tell her to go away you might need to be serious in the conversation). But you also need to be clam about it. So when you two are in togeter you should say"Look I understand you have feelings for me,but I'm not trying to be mean but I don't have the same feelings for you as you do for me". "But I really just want to be Friends(or Close Friends)".
That should work. If she keeps on doing it,just keep telling her the samething and it should come to her in time.

yeah thats pretty weird. you coudl tell her to back off. let her know your her teacher, and nothing else (unless you want to be, but thats none of our buisness).

the depressing treatment also may be affecting her and it could be a side effect, but you should def. tell her someone that coudl help you, though. the consequences may be serious if you dont.

good luck

If she is your student, and you started a relationship with her that would be illegal.
