The example of his castigation of Lot as Satan ravaged him should be an indication of the pleasure he gets from such acts. What is this supposed to be tough love.

Without Satan, God as no meaning or purpose. Without evil, good has no perspective. The two have to co-exist for their to be any fairytale. Without Hell, everyone would go to Heaven and that would not inspire us.

Well in truth God didn't really create hell for any reason other than to give Satan what he wanted:
The story goes that Luicefer was God's right hand angel. He was the most beautiful and loyal angel...that is until one day Lucifer decided he outshined God and should be the ruler of Heaven. God was angered and gave hell to Luciefer and told him he could be the ruler of the damned. So no I must tell you God did not invent Hell for his own pleasure...as a matter of fact many a time he offered the lost souls a chance to return to him.

NO, he punished Sodom and Gommorah and never took pleasure in it but had to do it since no one would repent. Plus if a kid died that wouldn't change anything only that cause and effect happens and the parents will be held accountable.

Castigation of Lot, He spared Lot because of his righteousness and obedience. You of course are looking at the side of those that oppose God, hell the place where those go that choose to reject God's plan of salvation through His gift the Lord Jesus Christ. No god does not receive pleasure seeing those go to hell, He tells us that in His word,"God is willing tha none should perish". We all deserve hell as we all sin against God, were it not for His grace we would all go there."For it is be grace you have been saved through faith and not that of yourselves". Look at the other side, God is a loving God and provided a way for us to get redemption (blood of Christ) that we might go to heaven and be with Him. Yes, heaven is the other place He created, for me and you if we accept His wonderful gift His Son to cleanse us from all our unrighteousness. Yes my Friend there is another choice to hell.

I don't think any god is powerful enough to create a hell. But if one has such power, it is not the Abrahamic god. Heaven and hell and other divine realms preceeded the Abrahamic faiths; therefore if a god created these realms, it was not the Abrahamic god.

GOD wants you to do good. He gives us all a choice on what road we choose to take in life, each road has its own destination, you have free will, so GOD allows you to go down your path of choice, if youre going the wrong way, GOD will send you help so you could get the correct directions, its your choice to listen and follow those directions or keep going down the wrong road, when you come to the end of whatever road you take, you have to stay at that destination.

Kinda hard for invisible beings to invent things, It was the Christian belief that invented hell, and, God, and Jesus. Mere man afraid of the unknown, which is known if they would mature intellectually enough to get past their insecurities
