Even if it's just a trial version. I need it only to open up a few documents on my computer and save to a thumb drive. I really don't want to purchase the software because it is crazily expensive and I only need it temporarily.

If it cost a couple of bucks to download than that's fine. I just don't want something really expensive. And it doesn't matter what version it is. Thanks

You cannot get a free copy of Word, but you can get a free copy of Word Viewer 2007 from Microsoft. It enables you to view, print, and copy documents to another program. Get it here...

An alternative would be to download the free office suite called OpenOffice. You can get that here...

You can download a "trial" version of work, but it will have limited functionality. Or as Ray suggested, you could download Open Office. It is free and very functional.

u must visit free software gallery. you may find there. but there is a less possibility of it.
