the best thing is to throw nice cooked dishes at them? They snap them midair, and after a reasonable amount of snapping become calm and normal again?

If you're going to do some throwing, throw them right out that door. Don't waste nice dishes like that. That's an insult to the dish.

naw,boiling water and syrup is better,it sticks and can't be rubbed off.makes threatening males stop in their tracks (sorta like superman would stop then) then they make a hasty retreat
