Yeah because the purpose of dating is for the goal of finding a suitable woman for marriage.
If you jump into that before you have a good career making a decent living, then you will struggle making a few dollars above minimum wage for the rest of yur life, you will live in old delapidated mobile homes, driving broken down junk because thats all you will be able to afford if BOTH of you are working!
You can forget health insurance too, you wont be able to afford that.Your parents are right son, listen to them trust them, not your hormones.

ok well I'm not supposed to answer this because i'm a 21 year old woman, but I'm giving my input anyway. No that can't be healthy. you should be able to date before that becuse how the hell are you going to ask a girl out when you're older if you haven't done it before. Teenage years are the akward years you're supposed to learn those social skills. If you wait until you're in your career, women will view you as work obsessed, not a trait any chick veiws as sexy. good luck

I think the maturity and experience you'll get with a relationship are invaluable. Sure, a career is GREAT, no doubt, but you should also realize you're human with emotions for a reason. You can use them. Also, if you ever feel lonely or sad, another person being there is awesome.

As a mother of teenagers, I think that you should get your feet planted in your career first and the rest will come naturally. Girls are easy to get but a foundation for a great future is harder.

I am a girl but looking in a guy's perspective i guessit is good b/c your parents might not want to pay for all the things you and your gf want to do. so then a job would sure come in handy when you would go out to dinner or go to the movies or buy her like a b-day present.

No way...relationships are part of growing up. As long as while you're under 18 they're healthy, teenage romances there's no harm in them. Teens need someone to unwind with and not think about work and all that crap.
