My wife has a working background in administrative and event coordination work. She has a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in forensic DNA analysis. She's never been able to get a lab job due to her lack of actual work experience in the lab. She would actually like to have a career in acting within our area but requires some degree of flexibility. We're trying to think of some type of 'day' job that has that flexibility, decent pay, and allows for some type of future should the acting thing not work out.

I know, sounds hokey that someone with that much education and whatnot would want to pursue acting as a career. Therefore, I am asking for serious responses and not interested in any smart alec responses. Thanks in advance.
