It would be held in his juridiction ,but assaulting a police officer is pretty moronic.Did you plan on spending the rest of your life on the run or was it just a spur of the moment thing.

Assault is assault no matter where he falls! The truth lies not in the fall, but in the action. The trial would be held in the juristition of the point of impact.
