in fact any program of p2p download or anything like the direct connect programs are legal.. The illegal state comes from the way you use it

Change the settings in limewire to not do torrents and asociate torrent files with Azureus In the Azureus program options.

The program is not illegal, if you're talking about their new vuze thing, that's not illegal either.
