Since she eats good most of the time, it is nothing to worry about. Kids are just like any other person...some days you just don't have much of an appetite. If it is just a matter of messing around at the table, set a timer...one that is visible for her...for like 30 minutes. Tell her when the bell dings, dinner is over. Then ignore her and enjoy your meal. She may be acting that way just to get a rise out of you. Don't let her do that. Also, tell her that if she doesn't eat her dinner, she doesn't get dessert, and stand by that. Offer her a healthy snack of fruits or cut up veggies if she complains she is hungry after dinner, but no sweets.

Do not be obsessed about your child's eating habits or it will become a power struggle between them and you. Let the child eat healthy food and do not rush them. If the child does not want to eat that's okay-just don't let them skip the meal and go on to dessert.
Young children do well eating every two hours or so. Offer healthy snacks between meals and realize that their stomachs do not have the capacity that adults do so the snacks between help meet the nutrition needs they may not get at the regular meal times.
Also their growth often comes in "spurts" so a pre-growth spurt may be preceded by an increased appetite while a lull of growth may result in a decreased appetite.

Don't worry about her! She'll eat when she's hungry. Don't get to annoyed with her. If she doesn't eat her supper, remind her that it is all she gets to eat that night. Don't give her any snacks before bed. She's eating good most o f the time, so she's getting the nutrients she needs, one missed meal here and there won't hurt her!

Good luck!!

Its very rare for a child that young to starve themselves, if she is not hungry then dont fret, especially if she eats well the rest of the time, on those days she is messing around, just make sure that there is fruit available and dont offer sweets if they have not eaten.

Twenty minutes is a good time to be at the table. It takes twenty minutes for your body to tell your brain that you are full. If you are worried about this type of mealtime, be sure to pull all snacks till the next meal.
