All you'll have time for is to say what cubism is. It is an idea to present all angles of the subject at the same time on a two-dimension canvas. Most people thing Picasso invented cubism but it was George Braque who shared living quarters with Picasso at the time and claimed the idea for himself.

- Cubism began in the latter half of the19th century and still exists today. But Cubism gained most of it's recognition from 1900 to 1935.
- Generally speaking cubism is considered abstract.
- Some painters of the first half of the 20th century went through a Cubism period where they painted that genre, and then moved on to other styles.
- Cubism is usually colorful and, well naturally, geometric.
- It takes a very skillful artist to succeed in creating a cubic work of art.
- It is possible to incorporate the Cubism genre into a work of art that is of another genre.
