Since it has sufficient alcohol, longer than us. Just keep the stopper in it. Will not be affected by light or heat etc. as it has already stopped maturing once it came out of the solera.

The sherry we sell in the pub I work has been open for well over a year....

I think sherry is similar to spirits in that it keeps for years and years.

People generally throw out open wine because it oxydizes and becomes sherry (bad sherry, but sherry nonetheless). If you keep yours capped, it'll last quite a while.

It will keep for several months (with a secure cap) but the quality starts to decrease after two weeks. Keeping your bottle in the fridge will keep it better for longer.
