I wish to understand how atheists and agnostics perceive one another.

Well by definition I am both and agnostic an an atheist. I have no knowledge of a god or gods thus agnosticism and I have no belief in a god or gods so I am also an atheist.

atheism is without belief in any gods
agnostics is without any knowledge of gods
I am and atheist agnostic.

And there are lots of things I like about myself and I am working on the things I dislike........generally I like atheists and agnostics because they are thinking beyond what they are expected to in our society and I applaud thinkers.

I don't know anyone who is agnostic but I certainly wouldn't be quick to judge people in general. I like to stay neutral until I get to know people a little bit better.

P.S. I'm an atheist

I'm agnostic because I don't believe in gods or goddesses but I don't care about the subject enough to be a firm atheist. LOL I think atheists get picked on more than agnostics ONLY because their word is shorter than ours, by one number ... and because it REALLY takes too long to type "non-believers" all the time!

I only feel strongly about atheists, or ANYONE for that matter, who diss us and call us agnostics names like "fence-sitters." I'm no fence-sitter; I just "don't know; don't care."

I'm an Agnostic who is leaning towards Atheism as well. I think we're more closer to each other than Religious people.

I like agnostics. Fairly reasonable people. Good people.

I wasn't aware that 'agnostic' was a personality trait. Hence, I do not have any opinion on any agnostic that I don't know of.

I certainly don't 'dislike' people because they don't believe that deities can be proven or disproven. That would be idiotic.

the only problem (rather than dislike) i have with sagnostics is that I'm expected to be agnostic about gods but I can be "atheistic" about any other improable things that also have no evidence for their existance.

other than that I have no issue with them

Agnostics, don't bother me one bit. I guess I would have to make up my mind person by person (just like I would with anyone from any faith)

I think most agnostics are *really* atheists, deep down.
