I agree, one can always reveal more to strangers, especially those one has never met and will never meet, than to friends or family. Once I tried to say some things to someone that I thought, but I was accused of being melodramatic; so, I've never done that again.

But here there are times when someone gets it, when there is a spark between the writer and the reader, and that's why I keep coming back.

Yes, I have. Besides the occasional hate mail, I do receive very kind e-mails from people I don't know sometimes. Also, I do feel connections or twinges of connections sometimes as I answer questions or receive comments for a "best" answer, etc.

yeah sometimes.

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more.
People talking without speaking,
People hearing without listening,
People writing songs that voices never shared.
No one dared disturb the sound of silence
