4 shots to make the trip shorter, then a couple beers to have a nice buzz. I never prefer one or the other. Just drinking beer won't get me drunk so i feel like I'm wasting money. Drinking solely liquor makes me overshoot my comfort zone.

Why not both? My favorite beer is Becks. Hard liquor, Jack Daniels.

Finely crafted micro brews and imports. Last night I had a sampling of ales. One from Hopping Frog, which had a unique hint of banana, but claimed to have added no fruit or spices to the mash. Another was a Belgium tripel.. delicious, but I wonder how they came to the conclusion that it was a tripel... Kind of light in body and flavor for one. Mmmm.... Beer.

Depends on the intention of consumption. If the goal is annihilation, then the obvious answer is both. 1 bottle of beer helps the gasoline go down.

I love beer. I'll take shots when the time calls for it but i would way rather pound a beer.

Hard liquor preferably tequila. It's easier to get over a hang-over.

gimme a crownroyal with coke any time of the day here LOL the only time i enjoy a nice cold beer is in the summer after a long long sweaty day.
