Jesus summed the whole issue up in two sections;

John 14:6

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Matthew 7:21-23

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Jesus determines who does and who does not enter Heaven. Only those who believe in Him, accept Him as Savior and Lord and serve Him and the Father will be granted entry to Heaven.

As he showed in Matthew 7:21-23 above, good works are not enough. It requires faith and belief in Him, and His sacrifice for us.

You can be a good person, and still be sinful in His sight. Christians are cleansed from sin and are made perfect after death, being clothed with Jesus' righteousness.

And rejecting Jesus means you reject the Father who sent Him, and you reject the finished work of the cross. Why should He then allow you into Heaven?

That's why the Old Testament Law was replaced with the New Testament. The Old Testament was a Law of works that didn't require faith and had no provision for salvation. The New Testament provides salvation through faith alone, for no works that we do can ever justify us in His sight.

If in God's determination only the sacrifice of Jesus was sufficient to remove sin and provide us access to Heaven, do you think any works we do could ever equal that?

There is a passage in the bible that basically states that there will be plenty in heaven that aren't Christian and plenty in hell that are. I personally think it has to do with how you live your life. I used to be a practicing Christian and one thing that I had a major problem with was the existence of hell itself. If you really pay attention to the Christian teachings you will notice early on that the concept of hell is just a scare tactic. I say this because the Christian faith teaches that no matter what you do, if you ask forgiveness you will get it. That the Christian god is so forgiving you can even ask for forgiveness at the time of your execution for multiple murders and still get it. If that's the case then there obviously is no hell since the Christian god forgives everything. Which is why I switched religions. You can not have good without evil and the Christian hell to me is nothing but a man made scare tactic to keep the masses in check.

Being Christian is not a title or something that put a person in a specific category, nor the fact that you go to church or you belong to any religion. Doing good deeds and living according to the commands and wishes of God, is the crucial element that will surely lead someone to paradise on earth and heaven.

The only thing that determines you going to Heaven is belief in Jesus. By believing in Jesus we are brought into a relationship with God. Going to heaven has nothing to do with works a person does because a person can never do enough good things in their life to get into heaven. It is impossible to work you way into heaven, you have to believe your way to heaven. God is not sending you anywhere. It is your choice. Why would a God allow you in His house when you have rejected your whole life? I know what my Bible teaches me and by reading the Bible and praying you do meet God.

The only way you can enter the gates of heaven is by and through Jesus Christ.
It wouldn't even make sense any other way because then you are saying Jesus died by being crucified on the cross for nothing.

Yes, God would still send you to hell, because your great, great, great, great, great a billion times grandfather ate a fruit from God's private stash. There is no amount of good you could possibly do to balance out that crime. Your only hope is to agree to let Jesus save you by remaking you without the possibility of disobeidience.

there'll be not extra loss of life, sorrow, crying, or discomfort (Revelation 21:4). The sinful are no longer in heaven, yet interior the lake of hearth (Revelation 21:8). no longer something impure will ever enter heaven (Revelation 21:27). outdoors of heaven are people who sin (Revelation 22:15). So, the respond is not any, there'll be no sin in heaven.

God wants a relationship with his people. NOT everyone is a child of God. We are all his creation, but to become a child of God you have to come to God by His only begotten son Jesus Christ. You have to repent of your sins and accept Jesus into your heart as your Savior. To be "good" in this world is misleading to say the least. "Good" compared to who? "Good" compared to the adulterer down the street, "good" compared to the compulsive liar at work, "good" compared to the prostitute on the corner, "good" compared to the murders, rapists, child molestors, serial killers in this world? Our term of "good" and God's term of good are two totally seperate things with two totally seperate meanings. The only Good that was ever on this earth was sent to die on a cross for ALL PEOPLE on Calvary. Jesus Christ is your ONLY salvation. This world that we live in is not permanent and is dying. We are not of this world.....we are supposed to be part of His and He loved us enough to send his FAMILY, HIS SON to DIE FOR EVERY PERSON on the face of the earth!! What more can He do for us? We don't even deserve that.....We are all sinners...we all sin....and all sins are equal. If you have lied....you are a liar.....if you have lusted for another person other than your spouse....you are an adulterer.......you are a sinner.....you are the same as murderer, child molestor, rapist, serial killer. So how can you being "good" save you from the fate that awaits the unclean.....how can being "good", but refusing the Gift, the Invitation, the Savior,
OUR BROTHER....save you from the pits of HELL!! If you can come up with a better solution....you tell me, but I know no other way............And God Doesn't know another way either!

The Bible tells us all this...it's in there....you might want to read God's instructions, God's Word, God's Plan for us.......if you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior...it is time my friend......don't fight your Father...He LOVES you dearly and wants you to be reborn into His Family! I am not condemning, I am not judging....I am stating the TRUTH.....I want you and everyone to Love God as much as He loves you.

Um, let's see....There are so many religions in this word, and most of them believe that they are "right" and the only ones who will enjoy heaven/eternal life or whatever, and the rest will be excluded. So in that way, no matter what you believe, somebody thinks you are gonna burn in hell. GET OVER IT!!! Stop caring what other people THINK, and keep on saving lives and doing whatever you can to help others. You are on the right track!! (But all that said, you shouldn't care what I think, either!! LOL)

Heaven doesn't exist and neither does Hell. These are concepts - this is a mindset that allows some people to fool themselves into believing that death is not the end of life...at least not for them. They're just so good, and moral, and special, how could death apply to them? Hell is for other people, right? It's so transparent, if it wasn't so pathetic it would be funny.

Personally, I think that Jesus, if he even existed, was a nutbag who sold his followers a cheap bill of goods with all that "salvation" crap.
