I guess you could order off of the dollar menu at McDonald's, they have sausage mcmuffins or go all out and get a sausage egg and cheese, the burritos are awesome a someone stated (this is making me hungry I am on a kind of vegan diet except I cheat a couple times a week to eat some tuna or chicken breast and trust me I am a carnivore so I am having issues with this.
Anyways some common foods that you might find protein in are meats, peanut butter, cheese, milk and yogurt. Another suggestion is for you to make a egg and sausage strata the night before and eat it for a couple of days, they are delicious and are surely loaded with protein.
If you are making it eggs (fast, affordable, protein) and sausage links. I don't really know what you mean but a lot of breakfast foods are quick, easy and fairly cheap to make.

ooh I love cocoa wheats it can ;be made in 30 seconds and let stand for 1 to 2 and it has 6 grams of protein, 90% of your daily recommend value for iron, 70% calcium 60 % riboflavin, 40% b12,30% thiamin 25% niacin, b6, folic acid, 20% a and c very little fat 1 gram 190 calories for a large serving size. trust me it will fill you up plus it's chocolate.

mmm someone said ovaltine yummy but it has less than 1 gram of protein although if it is made with milk that ups it since milk has protein.

You could keep some things that are easy to heat up in the microwave like ham or sausage.
You could pop in a slice of whole wheat bread in the toaster then spread reduced fat peanut butter on it.
They also make frozen breakfast hotpockets. Pop those in the microwave for 90 seconds and you are good to go.
Make coffee, tea, ovaltine, or hot chocolate and use milk. It has lots of protein.
Sprinkle some nuts on anything.
Grab some chik-fil-A. For on the go.
Omeletts with Cheese, Ham, and green peppers are delicious and great for you.
You can also add in protein powder to your coffee or milk.
My friend made a grilled peanutbutter sandwich. She made it the same way you would a grilled cheese sandwich, but with peanutbutter instead of cheese. i have never had it, but she said it was really good.
You can add spices, peppers, or cheese to your eggs to change it up.
I think your best bet would be breakfast hot pockets with a cup of hot ovaltine with added soy protein mix. Yummm....!
