I am a junior in college and have never had as much trouble figuring out a guy before this one. He is always willing to do anything for me, flirts continuously, puts a lot of hints that he's interested, and is always willing to hang out. Absolutely EVERYONE that is around us notices this, and keeps asking me when we're going to get together.
What's the problem? He won't make a move. Then tonight, I was a little tipsey and was texting him and I said I have to tell you something later. His reply was, "As long as it's not confessing your undying love." Is that a joke, or did he really mean that? I really don't get that at all. Ecspecially since last night we spent the whole night watching movies and cuddling. I don't get it. Please help? What should I do? What did he mean by this?

He's either honestly interested but is either afraid of commitment or what you think about him (or whatever else that's holding him back), he's messing with you, he's just reeeeeally friendly/playful, he jokes around a lot, or he's secretly gay and is just playful. (Not kidding about that. I kept getting flirty jokes/signals from a friend and he never made a move, and I didn't understand what was going on. A year or two later, he finally came out and told everyone. And no, the flirty jokes never did stop, lol.)
I say, open up communication. Tell him you need to talk to him and ask him when he's free to. Be honest with him and encourage honesty from him.

I'd say if he is kind of a sarcastic guy in general, he was probably joking.
Or, it could be that he thinks you are going to move too fast with things and he senses it coming on and he is trying to get you to slow down.
What did you mean by saying everyone is asking you "when you're going to get together?" It sounds to me like you guys just starting seeing each other anyway, am I right? Make him take you out and spend some money on you first before you give up the sex if that's what you are implying by your commentary. Then you can be sure it is real.

It's a classic case of denial. They find it so hard to believe that atheism might appeal to a wide range of people that they choose to believe it's one atheist with multiple accounts posting all of this blasphemous anti-god material. Wouldn't be the first time they've denied plausibility and believed something too ridiculous to be true.

sounds to me he wants to play but doesnt want it to get to serious and if you were to tell him of your "undying love" he would surely shy away. maybe he hasnt had much luck with relationships and just wants to have some friendly sex and good conversation nothing wrong with that. if your willing to keep it simple, that is. good luck, think about it.... everything good without the hardship of hardcore relationship factors.

may be he is jus not serious about getting into a relationship...(or) he was jus kidding by that message and he is dying to hear u propose...
if its choice 1 then he is most probably attracted to ur boobs than ur heart...more to ur feminine sexuality than ur inner self...
if its choice 2 then lol...he might be the right one...
jus as him in plain terms and ya...restrict bodily pleasures (even the cudling...a guy who excites you by touching down there will eventually take u to orgasms by intercourse...) till u sort out the real feelin he has towards u...

Text him back and say, Excuse me. Do you have something to tell me ;) or you could say, I know you're in love with me why don't you admit it, honey ;).
