clock reverts to earlier year at restart?

it reverts to 1986 at every restart

it's actually a CMOS battery that's your problmem ... and depending on your motherboard it may be soldered directly to the board or hopefully it's just a "pop" in affair ...the battery you need (if it's a pop in) will be like a flat calculator battery #2032

if ur puter loses time 99.99% it's ur CMOS battery failing

you have BIOS battery problem i think so
