i want to know if there is any way of searching for basketball games, volleyball games, etc. anything that has someone singing the national anthem before the "show", that need someone to sing the banner? i've always wanted to sing the banner in front of a crowd, but never been involved with anyting that gave me the option.
BTW- im not some crappy singer looking for attention, i just have a passion for this song and want to actually reach it out to people in my own way.

barbershop.org - this website seemed to have a good amt of info. Apparently there's usually a contact for each event that chooses to book someone. Hope you can make it happen!

Do you have local sports teams where you live (high school, college, amateur league, etc.)? If so, look up the phone number(s) for their main offices and ask if they need someone to open up their game with the song. I've sung the national anthem several times for my local area's arena football team, baseball team, and hockey team, just because I (and a few other people from my music department) contacted them.

You don't go through here. Find an actual local or regional sporting event or organization and ask questions.
