None of the tax prep firms are doing loans prior to filing your return any more. The banks that did them have pulled out due to very high losses. Block has a line of credit through their own subsidiary bank for customers who have done business with Block for at least 2 years but it is unrelated to filing a tax return and is limited to $500.00. As is typical for this type of credit, the fees are very high.

Most of the tax prep mills will do a Refund Anticipation Loan through a partner bank. The fees and interest rates are extremely high especially when you consider that you only get your money about a week or so faster than e-filing with direct deposit.

Probably nowhere. Some companies used to do this but aren't this year. H&R Block has some program they're doing this year, but it's limited to $500 and to people who were their customers in at least one of the past 2 years.
