Education Department had the guts to shut down a muslim school.

I presume from your statement that the school was closed because it was Muslim and I doubt that very much. Discrimination on the grounds of religion is illegal in Australia. A Muslim school has as much right to exist as a Christian school provided they teach the State curriculum. If the school was closed for failing to teach the curriculum then I expect the fundamentalist Christian schools to follow suit - as they often don't follow the curriculum.

My own view is that all religion is a personal thing and has no place in schools. The State should not fund religious schools of any denomination.

i agree. an all muslim school this day in age does not sound like a good idea. racist or not

this is Australia! why should people immigrate here and try to change our laws and traditions?
They are welcome to live here but they are also free to leave if they don't like our way of life
