So, on another question you said "I wanted to comment on the girl that talked about noah. not all stories in the bible are actual truth, many of the ones in the old testament are stories to help us understand God and his power more. noah's story may or may not be true" where did you find this? Stories that were only representations were clearly labled as Parables, however, God talks nothing of Parables in Noah's Ark. Also, if Noah's ark was just to help us understand things better, why would God give us the EXACT dimentions of the arc, the age of Noah, the days it took him to build the ark, so on and so forth, and what would he be trying to help us understand better? Don't mean to be harsh, just wanting to understand where you came up with your theory that not all Bible stories are true...

God does't Admit the stories aren't true, its just that Jesus says, here since you still don't understand, let me give you an ANALOGY, thats what I'm talking about, not that God tells a story, and then says "by the way, that's made up"

Alex: you have obviously not read the Bible, it says God BROUGHT the animals to Noah, also he did not have to have nearly as many as we do today, many of the species we have are from cross breeding the original animals that would have been with Noah on the Ark.

Its completely true. And alex those are the kind of TRUE facts I just listed so I have a qualification of my statement!

Miss, a literal reading of the Noah's Ark story leaves a TON of problems to deal with. For one thing, you wouldn't be able to "cross-breed" very many animals if you only had a few remaining animals of each species to start with. For another, you would have to explain how all the animals on the ark returned to their natural environments after the flood, since according to the Bible they all washed up on Mt. Ararat (in modern-day Turkey). This story makes a lot more sense if you look at it from the eyes of the author, who obviously lived in the Middle East approximately 3500 years ago. He would have no way of knowing about penguins and polar bears, and how large the earth actually was, or the fact that there was an entire other hemisphere full of hundreds of thousands of people (all of whom apparently survived the "worldwide" flood, since they were still there when Columbus arrived). This is why most people assume the story of Noah's Ark is an allegory for God's cleansing the world of sin.

When I study the Bible I take the every word to be the Gospel truth. This is the whole point you know.

Are you kidding? The probability of Noah getting two of each animal is ridiculous. What about all the insects? There are MILLIONS of those, and, no, not all of them can fly. How did he catch them.
Sorry, giving exact dimensions for something or giving specifics =/= real.
I could tell you I saw a unicorn prancing in my room and it was percisely 2.34 meters tall, it's horn was 2 feet long and the color of it's coat was a beige-ivory color. That does not make this real. Your argument is not valid.

Hahaha your reply to alex is stunning.

You think that simple cross breeding of the biomass that could fit on a wooden could amount the the millions of species we have today?

No, the only mechanism that could produce such genetic diversity would be evolution, so na-na-na, ne-ne-ne, nanannene na na.
