Currently, I am a junior in college and going to graduate next year with degrees in marketing and management. I was offered a four year football scholarship and since I am only nineteen they would register me as a freshman. If I accept the scholarship, then I will not graduate next year and instead will play football for a while longer. The question is wheter it would be more attractive to be the football player since this is my only chance to do this or should I go ahead and graduate with two degrees and be only 20 yrs old?

Depends on the type of chicks you want. If you want the party girls, get drunk and laid all the time, flush your education down the drain for football.

If you want to start your career, make tons of money before you're 25, attract the smart, cute girls, then graduate.

I pick graduate and earn money. Football is all show. Hey, what if you get hurt playing?

I say take the football scholarship. Truthfully, I am a senior business management major in college as well... and it will be extremely hard to find a leadership position as a 20 year old. You might as well enjoy the football scholarship and have some fun until people see you more legitimately as a leader. Keep us posted on what you do!

Get your degrees first, then go on to play football.
If you should be injured in a game that ends your football playing, you will still have you education and you won't have to try to make up any missed classes while recovering from the football injury.

uhh for the first poster, why would he be flushing his education down the toilet if he chooses to play football? he could just finish his degree a little later. he already has completed his requirements for the degrees, so he can just take easy classes while playing football. and if he gets hurt he can still fall back on his degrees, so what's the harm in playing football?

What type of girl are you after?
Living the high life of a footballer probably seems great to you right now. But once that career is over, your will need some thing to fall back on.

You need to take into account that, and what career will you uphold whilst still having time for your girls.

Personally I could careless about football. So I would go with the young grad. Yet you still have time so you might as well stay in school could not hurt.

Finish school you yourself said you didn't have that much longer. A good education is worth more than a whole field full of players.
