Sorry, but i think it far more than fair for her to not want you to pollute the air she breathes, stink up her carpets and drapes and ruin the paint, not to mention her clothes. And i'm afraid the window doesn't prevent much of this.
Oh, and yeah, I smoke, I just try not to impose on those who don't. I don't know where any of my fellow smokers ever got the idea that they have some kind of right to smoke anywhere anytime or even at all. Have you read the studies on second hand smoke? Do you really want to be so very responsible for your {very loved, I'm sure} girlfriend's ill health? I bet you don't.
Don't get upset with her for trying to protect herself and/or her environment. Just find some other way to make it work for yourself, some sheltered place outside maybe, where you can escape the wind and the weather.
Like i said, i smoke, i just don't fine it fair to make anyone else do it against their will.

If you mean its fair that she did that to you.. then not really. It's not good to smoke, but making your partner quit cold turkey isn't that good. It will end in an argument. Maybe make a compromise, You can only smoke 2 times a week, by the window, or something like that.
If you mean is it fair to smoke by the window. Yes, the window is opened and that shouldn't be a problem. You cant control a person's habit.

well personally i wouldnt even date a smoker, but yeah its not good to smoke in the house because the smoke (whether you believe it or not) really does do damage to the interior and it makes everything else smell like smoke, it would be beneficial to kick the habit but if not then i dont see why you cant just pop outside real quick for a smoke break

yes pretty fair. second hand smoking is more dangerous for non smokers than smokers. and smoking is bad for health. I am a chain smoker for last 10 years, can't quit but don't want to affect others.

Move to a house that has a balcony. Or move to a house where you will have two toilets.
It is not fair that you be the cause of her inhaling tobacco smoke!

Yeah, positive it's fair enough, and it is not good to your health. So, if i were you before coming inside the house smoke as much as you can to avoid arguing with your GF.

i mean it's not really healthy to have the house filled with smoke
surely at first you'll feel as if she's just being selfish but think about her, i mean surely you wouldn't want her to fall sick because of your addiction, no offence
just smoke outside or better still try to stop smoking :]
