Yes your cat is allergic to the christmas tree. Christmas trees have evergreen pollen which cause minimal allergy symptoms but christmas trees are the shelter to mold or contaminating pollens such as ragweed. The sap can also trigger an allergy. Artificial trees are a potential source of mold and dust caused by improper storage.

Chances are, your cat is allergic. If there's a way to keep you cat out of the same room as the tree, that would be a good start. I'd check with your cat's vet to find out if there's anything you can do to help stop her sneezing, though. You might be able to get an answer over the phone.

Could there be chemicals that were sprayed on the tree to keep it green and from drying out? If so, it's no wonder your cat is sensitive to it. I would suggest taking the tree outside to air it our for a day or two and then bringing it in again. See if that helps.

Trees are often sprayed with stuff before being sold to the public, these things can be pesticides or even false color to enhance the tree's color.
Try to keep her out of the room from the tree.

i'm so satisfied ur cat is high quality. it fairly is a sturdy component u took her to the vet as sneezing blood would be very severe. a minimum of now u understand for next time. when I first study ur question i became panicking cos my kitten has been sneezing with the aid of fact the day i've got been given him (2 weeks in the past) however the vet suggested it became in basic terms an infection which might clean up by itself.

It could be the tree. It could also be the dry air in the house from the heat.
