Any job in the Corp is a great one. It is a great thing to know that you are a part of something so great until the day you die.

Ask active duty Marines what they like and do not like, ask old inactive Marines what is cool and YES ask the recruiter. They lie a bit but you can put on your Bullsh!t detectors for that. Get all the info you can and make the decision based on what suits you the best.

Do not sweat the typo, I cannot type either and I was an Officer

For one it's Marine Corps, not Core.

As for your question, it depends ALOT. It depends on the individual. Noone is the same, so what is good for me may not be good for you.

The best thing to do for ANY of the services is to look at ALL the options and pick the one that suits you best. Do NOT join for financial reasons. If money is your motivation, then the Corps is not for you. Anyways, the important thing is to choose wisely, it is the most important decision of your life.

Make sure you talk to active duty Marines such as myself about everything you can. Ask questions, ask questions, ask questions. DO NOT go see a recruiter in order to get info. Trust me. If you want info, talk to an active Marine like me. We will tell you everything you want to know, plus more facts that you NEED to know.

By the way, I'm an 0311. Marine Infantryman, rifleman.

You don't join the Marines just for a job, or for money. You join just to be a Marine. That is the best job.

You're in trouble already as poster #1 pointed out,, it's
CORPS not "core"..

maybe best to concentrate on just getting in, first then worry about cherry picking your mos. You'll need to know how to spell too. (regardless of what you've seen in the movies) The Corps is the hardest to get into, they demand quality not quanity

I recommend 'spelling' - for you & our President besides. . . it fairly is "Marine Corp" no longer middle. in case you opt to be FBI, CIA, or DEA agent - you are able to desire to be thinking "regulation degree". . . you are able to seem it up at any of their web pages. All FBI brokers have regulation levels, all CIA brokers have develop levels in one forte or yet another & are required communicate a distant places language. . . they have web pages that provide you all you are able to desire to understand approximately qualifying for those jobs. . .
